Great price for an awesome appliance
Had one of these at a beach resort. Weird, hot air comes out, but makes the room FREEZING.
Research showed the dry hot air coming out actually cools the air, no humidity.
It works.
Just don’t put it by your bed or where the warm air cannot mix with a/c conditioned air.
Checked on internet and Sylvane was cheaper than all my go to appliance sites. Like 50 less.
And FREE shipping.
Box came in, same dehumidifier. Flashed back to the beach resort.
And, the air smells so clean.
Empty the bin before it gets too full. Much better than a line that you must siphon the water out of through a window or a drain.
Mine is running now, white noise is awesome.

Defective relay
After calling the technical help line, which took my call almost immediately, the technician walked me through the typical issues related to installing the 8920W thermostat. One function of the thermostat was intermittent, that function just happened to be heat (not great in zero degree weather). Unfortunately, I needed to purchase a second unit in order to have one quickly. I returned the defective unit promptly, but am still waiting for my refund. I just wish the technicians believed me when I told them what was wrong, it would have saved about 30 minutes of “are the wires securely screwed in?”.
